Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Join Providence Hospice of Snohomish County as a full-time Palliative Care/Hospice nurse practitioner. This agency is developing a home-based Palliative Care program where the nurse practitioner will be the main provider. You will assist in establishing the Palliative Care program and, once it's up and running, you will make home visits to the Palliative Care patients with back-up from hospice nurse practitioners and physicians. When working with hospice, you will have the advantage of interacting with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, RNs, MSWs, Chaplains and hospice aids. Work with a supportive group at an established practice and enjoy an excellent quality of life in Everett, Washington.
Monday to Friday schedule (mainly)
At least 2 years experience required
CME days and dollars
Weekend call every fifth week compensated by two week days off
Occasionally cover the in-patient Hospice Care Center during the week

Providence Hospice of Snohomish County is a hospice program serving Snohomish County and Camano Island. This program provides quality, comprehensive medical care in the patient's home and has the additional benefit of a 16 bed in-patient unit in Everett, WA. Providence Hospice promotes optimum patient comfort through pain and symptom management, as well as by addressing psychosocial and spiritual needs.
